The winding drum is fabricated from mild steel for the flanges with a mild steel  centre, I made the boiler check valves, bypass, safety valves and water gauge.
The injector check valve is a straight through type this allows the water an easier passage into the boiler by not having to enter the boiler at an acute right angle, that’s the theory
